Our Policies

Most FAQ are answered below:

Can I return something if I’ve changed my mind?

Absolutely! We offer a hassle-free 30-day period for you to return your products to us. We only ask that they are unopened, sealed and show no signs of use. (In the condition you received them basically) We only cover postage return costs if you can prove your order contained a mistake or faulty item. All refunds are processed back to the method they were paid.

 

We just ask for a couple of things:

  • Proof of purchase

  • The goods to be returned to us within 30 days

  • All original accessories/parts of the item(s) included

 

Some products are exempt from our hassle-free 30-day return policy but you’ll be made aware of that before payment. Your product may be marked with an asterisks (*) on your Sales Card Voucher. These items are usually custom-made waterslide decals, code 3 models or specially picked model figures- anything unique to your order. 

 

I’m an international customer, what changes?

Don’t panic! The only difference is we give you 60 days to return your goods. Please remember to insure your packages for return and we advise using a tracked and signed service. We cannot be held responsible for missing/damaged returns.

 

Missing items are only actionable after 25 working days, we will however work quickly with the courier to ensure you get your item(s) as soon as possible.

For orders all taxes, charges or custom fees are the responsibility of the consumer in the foreign country and not us the seller.

 

My product(s) have developed a fault, help!

We’re sorry to hear this but sometimes these things happen! Depending on the fault you may be covered by your manufacture guarantee so just contact them and there’ll advise what to do. If the manufacturer is us we may be able to assist with a repair, replacement or refund.

 

I haven’t got my refund yet!

How frustrating! Please note that credit/debit card refunds can take up to 5-7 working days to be refunded due to the speed of the banking systems. PayPal refunds can take significantly longer or can get ‘Held’ by PayPal. If your refund is ‘Held’ please contact PayPal as this is out of our control. Gift card refunds are instantly credited back to your original gift card. 

 

I haven’t received my item yet, help!

How disappointing! Sometimes couriers/ postal services get it wrong. Please make sure you have checked for a calling card, your local post collection office or your neighbor. After this, please get in touch with your order number and details and we’ll investigate for you. We understand you may need your item(s) quickly and we’ll work as quick as possible with the postal courier to ensure you get your item(s) as soon as possible. In most cases we’ll either refund you for your order value or replace the goods.

 

What payment types do you accept?

We accept all major Credit/Debit cards which are processed through Square Payments and also PayPal.

Card details, linked addresses, names and any other connected information is never stored by us and we will only use the granted information to charge you for our products/services.

Your payment card will be charged accordingly once you confirm your order.
If you choose to purchase through PayPal you will be charged for all your items immediately.

 

How will my order be delivered?

We mainly use, but not subject to, Royal Mail for all our orders we send out. If we deem it suitable we reserve the right to split your order(s) across multiple packages/envelops. 

We mainly choose to use Royal Mail for all orders but sometimes can use Hermes, Yodel, DPD, UPS, DHL, Parcelforce or Click&Collect.

For missed deliveries you need to contact the postal company as to the status of your package(s) location. It may need redelivering, collecting or have been left with a neighbour.

Postage Cost Calculations

The website will automatically calculate any applicable shipping charges for your order. Items under the weight of 500g will be free shipping. Any order 500g and up will be charged at a higher rate. Certain items are excluded from each section of free delivery. Please use our costing table below. 

We regularly update our shipping costs and calculations without any prior notice. All up to date shipping will be applied to your order during checkout.

Standard Shipping: 48-72 Hours - UK

Small Items (500g<): £0.00

Items over 500g: £2.00

E.g. An Oxford Diecast Van Model would be £2.00 Standard Delivery, Packs of Model Figures are FREE standard delivery 

Premium Shipping: 24-48 Hours - UK

Flat Rate: £3.50

FREE if order is over £30!

 

Next Day Delivery: (Mon-Fri) - UK

Flat Rate: £6.00

FREE if order is over £50!

International Services- 5-15 Working Days

Orders 1.5kg<: £10.00

Orders 1.5kg-2.5kg: £11.00

Above 2.5kg: £20.00

Pricing

Prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time.

Product Information

We do our very best to ensure that all items you see are as close as possible to the photographs shown, but, from time to time our suppliers (Including ourselves) may update products, slight variations in colour and size may occur but are very uncommon.

Availability

All items are subject to availability.

We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

 

Liability

GM Model Supplies cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the Website. When you place an order to purchase a product from GM Model Supplies your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a dispatch note included when you receive your order. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such dispatch note do not form part of the contract.

GM Model Supplies endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, GM Model Supplies does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.
